"Tonton" plays soccer in Haiti

Games 4 Good is a brand new foundation that seeks to support growing non-profit organizations using sport to make a difference in the third world and under-served first world. The Foundation’s Executive Director, Ken Sommers, says “We hope to support small to medium-sized organizations with big hearts and great ideas that use sport to change lives.” I’m excited to be helping out by serving on the Board of this group, and am looking forward to learning more about the impact that sport-for-development initiatives are making in the US and around the world. G4G has just announced its first grant opportunity for projects ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. The deadline is March 15, 2014.
